Sonu doesn't sing for money anymore By MIO Team Nov 27, 2006, 12:08 |
His work ethics and life has taken a drastic change over the years. "I'm deliberately cutting down on work. I don't believe in doing mediocre stuff, I'd rather concentrate on quality than quantity. I don't work for money, I work for creative satisfaction. Self-motivation is what gets me going now," he said. He had even announced recently that he would quit singing to take up farming but he has decided to go slow. He said that he would do what he loves like reading, working out and traveling before eventually getting into farming. He added that he is having good time in the US. The singer has changed with growing age and even sports long hair, giving 'I don't care' look. So, has he turned spiritual? It doesn't seem so if his words are to be believed. "Everybody evolves as they grow older. We get saner. I've realized that the higher our expectations, the more frustrated we get. I'm learning to have a more callous approach to life; I'm learning to let go. Spirituality is an over-exploited word. I have great faith in numerology, but I usually believe in something only if it has a practical basis," he clarified. Another news is doing rounds that his marriage is on the rocks but he is not in the mood to talk about it. He diplomatically said that he had never talked of his personal life in the past and would never do so in the future too. He added that he gives damn care to the rumors, as people who are close to him know the truth. |
