Can you inform us about any new events. We in Canada are not aware of a lot of things happening, so we depend on our IF members in India for the little tidbits.

Ron, dazzling...Sameer belongs on centerstage with the lights, music and microphone on him! If I had my way I would make him perfrom every week (and sing HR everytime 😉 ), and attend every show of his! But that is too much to ask, he has to enjoy his childhood (or what's left of it)!
To think of all the recognition, prize money, media attention, audience support, female fan following, show invitations he has got at such a young age! I doubt how many kids have achieved this at the age of 11! Just hope he retains his popularity (unlike other child stars such as Shirley Temple or Jugal Hansraj 😭 ).
Sorry to go off on a tangent since this was originally a Sanchita post, but I couldn't help it! He deserves it!

Biswita, I hope all this success, popularity and fame do not go to his head. He has to remember that he is only 11 yrs of age, and continue with his education, his parents should realize this too. I miss seeing him perform, he was the high spot of every episode. If he was eliminated the rest of the episodes would have been so boring, he is the one who made the shows exciting, I still do not know why he was not supported more, maybe he was too young, infact he did look very young with his spiked hairdo. He looked younger than the Benares and Delhi shows. Because of his charismatic stage presence, he will be invited by other singers to perform at their shows.

Actually I had read on my cable channel that the little champs will be performing tomorrow at Andheri Sports Complex with Shaan and other Tv stars. And tomorrow itself is the Indian Telly Awards where the Tv stars will be present. So I am assuming that these two programmes are the same. I am not sure though.😕

I will give the details if I know anything pakka.😃

Shefali, thanks once again for the info. I am sure that the awards will be televised on one of your channels. If it is shown by ZEE tv, then we will eventually see it in Canada, so pls inform us which Channel will televise it. also some details of the show etc.
