Its all happening in India, the wonderland of many things. Shifting paradigm in business, music, movie, politics and teaching; thanks to globalization and change perspectives. Politicians are becoming teachers, TV shows producers are transforming into business icons. Latest examples are Laloo being the teacher in B-school, Gajji and Kekta becoming multimillion dollar business tycoons by running TV shows. MGA correspondent came to know from a reliable source that B-schools are planning to invite Gajji to take special classes for future business leaders. The only reason behind this development is that Gajji has been running a successful TV programme for more than a decade and with innovative ideas. This development is creating reactions from different quarters.
Gajji is quite excited on this prospect. When contacted he said, "This is a recognition beyond my imagination. Good to note that B-school authorities are following my programs. This is purely on my caliber of introducing public VOTING to the shows and making good amount of money in every program. I will be concentrating on teaching how to add drama in otherwise monotonous shows to involve audience more emotionally." The correspondent enquired about his teaching ability and he answered, "It's a process of learning. I have been running SRGMP for more than a decade, and learned a lot. I may not be very good at teaching, but will undergo a special training after the Lil Champ' gets over. Have sent a special request to Suny (SDK) and Barnalidi for special classes to make me a good teacher." Interestingly none of the requested trainers has got any request from Gajji till now.
Rail Gaddi minister, Laloo seems totally unaware of this development. The correspondent met this charismatic person and had a very private talking about his teaching experience in B-school. He said, "Ham ne Bihar ko 15 saal chalaya, aur pisle do saal se rail gaddi chala raha hoon. Hamare achievement dekh kar hi bolaya hoga. Teaching karake bohat maza aya. Ache bachee hai, jaldi sikh gayee."
When told about Gajji as a teacher in B-school, Laloo was quick to respond, (translated version), "Good that Gajji is becoming a teacher, but there are basic differences on our view and his views on making VOTE as a tool of business.
We ask for VOTE once in five years then continue to raj for next 5 years but Gajji asks for VOTE every week.
We give money to junta to give VOTE, but Gajji makes money out of VOTE
Our VOTE bank is poor, illiterate (mostly) and rural people, but Gajji's VOTE bank is people with mobile, cableTV and well educated urban people.
So, there is clear difference of perspectives on VOTE theory between us. Do not make it as a competition. Hum alag alag xetra (sector) me kaam karte hai."
A close associate of Gajji, who is a renowned music director, seems little upset over this development. He said, "Gajji is doing good business out of VOTE because of us during SRGMP 05, as we had introduced many new twists to the program by dramatizing the events. We walked out, fought and I myself introduced Vinit's girlfriend theory to attract more VOTES. Because of all this he is so successful today. I am unhappy because such things will never mention as a business strategy in his teaching curriculum." The correspondent also likes to add 'maa ka sapna' as well at this point.
Gajji was asked about the linkages and reasons behind Hero Honda, as a main sponsor of the musical contest. He said, "Very simple, music may not be linked to business opportunities of Hero Honda, but they are getting good exposure to new generation through my shows. Do you think Newspaper Industry is making money out of their news items? Its not, they are making more money out of advertisement than their news. Moreover the name Hero Honda gels well my concept of the show 'Hero or (h)Onda (egg)'. Hehehehe" he laughed.
Priya, our GM, is not very happy with Gajji last comment on Hero Honda. She finds this as gender discriminative as there is no mention of Heroine.
Hope Gajji will be able to 'catch them young' the future generation business graduates for his production by impressing students in the B-schools.
