I think that was not a very nice thing to say... Just like some of you think Sameer is the best... some may think that there are other better singers than him. Dont know why we have to be judgemental that the later do not understand music and laugh about it!

saying sameer mediocre singer was also not very nice thing to say.
if you think there are better singer than him, you should say that and not that sameer is very mediocre, overhyped and without manners , overconfident and all multiple times.....why we are being judgemental here ?

Its judgemental because people's knowledge of music was judged above based on their preference for Sameer. All can have different preferences. If you think Sameer is great its fine - and all need not agree to that. This difference of perspective should not be very hard to respect.

I totally respect difference perspective of others. sorry, here I am not saying that just becuase I like Sameer as a singer , everyone should admire him . I am just asking to be considerate towards these kids and not grilled them or not give them any nick names/bad names just because you dont think they dont deserved what they are getting. These kids deserve more love and respect from us.

I agree with Jaya here ,you cannot judge ones's knowledge of music based on Sameer.People tend to have different preferences.

Sure they do - all kids are cute and they should not be called names like 'Opportunist' and all that. If you read my last posts I had mentioned the same thing... Hate and words like those are tooo strong esp for kids. The kids surely deserve all our good wishes.

Its a talent based show and all the other contestants are kids too - so the best singing talent should win. We have seen many instances where another kid who sang beautifully got lower grades than Sameer - who was more of a great performer. So the issue of overhype came.

All the kids deserve a lot of love and affection - but people will have their own preferences. So, if we are discussing the singing of kids alone and personally thinking may be someone is better than Sameer - that does not make us wrong or vice-versa. That was my only point.

Sameer is NOT overhyped, but whoever started this crap sure is. He is 11 years old kid and some people here are behaving like younger than 11! He brought the house down with his rendering of "Tujse Naraz Nahi Zindgi Hairan Hoon Mei" and the friendship song last week. As I have said before, criticism should be healthy not vindictive, certainly towards an 11 year old. We should all grow up and act like grown-ups. No matter who wins the contest, they are ALL BEST and will go places some day. Thanks.

I agree . but thinking someone is better than Sameer and calling Sameer mediocre, overhyped and overconfident is diff thing accroding to me.
