Guys - when you post a song, post some reasons why you like a certain version, and in a bit more detail, if you please - simply saying it touched you more isn't helping the rest of the people. It's turning out to be another copy-paste topic.

Frankly, I'm not too sure about the idea of comparing two singers - especially those of opposite genders. Both of them have their strong points - we can't really say one is better than the other. And most of us are unable to judge them on the technicalities anyway. So it usually comes down to personal preference, which may also be influenced by favoritism.

I myself had said that I thought Kishore's version was better than Lata's for a particular song, but I was wrong. I can't really judge them. Maybe I felt that way because I'd listened to the male version a lot more than the female version (which I'd barely heard), so I was more inclined towards it.

Shady, I agree..... u like particular song for many various reasons, it all depends on ur mood at that time too πŸ˜† I mean detailed explanation is hard, unless someone has knowledge music in depth .... "touched the heart more" reason is ok I guess....dont u think ?

That reason is fine to get your point across - but it leaves little scope for discussion. It becomes a train of events where people post a song - note their preference, and move on. It's what happened in the thread before this, that was closed within 12 hours - this will probably end up being closed too.

See - we've had more discussion on this issue already than we've had on all the songs combined πŸ˜†
