Actually, very frankly LP haven't really been my favorite. In my list, they figure only after the Burmans, Madan Mohan, Naushad, OPN, Roshan, Jaidev, Khaiyyam etc... I'm trying to finalise a good song from the 60s...they did some good songs when they entered. I'll definitely let you know 😊

thanks for the kind words everyone 😊 ... i'm very happy right now 😃 ... just found out i passed the exam i had last week (the day before the songs were submitted for the last round... some of u might remember i was getting a bit stressed out 😆)... i was very reluctant to check my exam result as i am very superstitious and thought this might be a bad day for results for me 😆

ok guys- ready for my farewell speech? 😆 ... i see that deepakji beat me to it with a very touching speech 😉

i have greatly enjoyed being a part of this contest... for me this contest was never about winning... it was about the experience of meeting and interacting with people with knowledge of music and the opportunity to have them listen to my songs and provide feedback... i am extremely happy to have met such good people... and i mean everybody who has been a part of this contest- mentors, contestants, judges, supporters... it's been a pleasure to meet u all 😃

now a few special mentions...

firstly my mentor, sunilji... he is an amazing individual... unke baare me jitna bhi kahan jaaye, kam hai... so i'm going to keep it short and sweet 😉... thank you so much for your support and your encouragement... u helped me build a lot of confidence which i previously really lacked... i would have been out ages ago if it wasn't for u! 😆...aap se bahut kuch sikhne ko mila... not only have u been a great mentor but a lovely friend too 😊

now for my dear friends... first my very sweet friend musaed- thank u for all your help and your sweet comments 😊... once my exams are over, all my time is for u to help u win!... u have to win this contest now- for u, for me, for sunilji and all our supporters... i know u can do it... Hum mein hain dum!! 😊

unfortunately, for the past few months i have had continous exams and haven't been able to dedicate much time to my songs... it's a shame that when i am finally free next week, i'll have nothing to do! 😆... well i'll be back with some more songs... u can't get rid of me that easily! 😉

I think ours is a gharana with the least number of supporters. 😊 So I have no supporters to thank for our success so far. I think we should pat ourselves on the back for coming this far without any words of encouragement from the general public for Pradarshak, Swastika or T.

However, the judges have more than compensated for this by giving excellent remarks about Pradarshak and Swastika.
