6-22 was my first wedding to VJ. now 32 years completed.

6-26 It was our 25th anniversary. All I knew that we were having a big party on that evening. I had a huge surprise coming from VJ. First he had made arrangement with a our family priest Sarlaben to perform exchanging of wedding wows. Shaptapadi (7 wows we exchanged)

Than came the next surprise was He got down on his knees to propose to me "If he could have me and If I would take him as my spouse for the next 25 yrs. And emotional me was sobbing said "Yes" again 😳 He did have tears in his eyes when he asked me. How cute 😳 😭

Now comes the last surprise by him. He serenades me with a song. Music played by him, song sung by him. Song he used was Jagjitji's "Rishta Kya Hai" and here how it goes. He changed the song with words from his own heart.

This was the best day of my life besides my first wedding day and the days my children were born. When I remember this day I still get extremely emotional.

That's reminds me of my parents 30^th anniversary. Both of them know each other from childhood! During 30^th anniversary my dad couldn't take along holiday as usual due to some office work! So the day before (26^th July their Anniversary BTW) my dad repaired his old Enfield Bullet Motor cycle and drove up to 400 KM to nearest sea beach of Kolkata – to Digha!! 😊

I first met Chaitali...🤔.. in short – I met her in a Group theater- where both use to act, I was 17 then, studying higher secondary and preparing for joint entrance; she was in her 2^nd year of college – engaged with her childhood love (that's obviously not me)! NOW – please don't ask me the next series of incidents aka Mahabharata!!! 😆

OK OK – I can't go into very details. Lemme tell you in short again – I fall in love (I used to call her Chaitali di then 😛 ) and finally proposed her one day – and got a huge slap in return!

I ran away from my house and didn't return for 17 days. Came back – and started life as usual….but I was persistent – after 2 years – she had to say YES!!! 😃
