Yes, Ankita, I too like this song from Sone Ki Chidiya. Suberb acting by Nutan and Balraj Sahani in this film. And I love Rafi's raat bhar ka yeh mehma andera... Suberb music by OP Nayyar to these 2 songs..

in one of the earlier srgm,where anil biswas was the judge...he said that,there were so many singers who have adopted rafi's ,lata's or mukesh's style of singing...but how many have been able to sing like talat....He kept a picture of talat on the table he sat next to while judging...he kissed the picture too..talat was very sick thse days...he died soon after.....

anil biswas loved talat very much...some vested interests spread a rumour that talat's voice was shaky,it affected talats career...anilji was very upset about it.. 😭

Thanks juggyEji for the video. I just saw them Mukund is very good, I remember Sanjivani but I did not know much about Mukund.

Thanks Ankitaji for the story about Talatji, He is my favourite singer I like all his songs. Humse aaya na gaya,Tasveer banata hu, Seene mein sulagte hain armaan, Meri Yaad Mein tum na aansu bahana, Milte hi aankhein dil huwa etc etc. are my favourites.

I did not like his voice. He was having hard time with high notes and voice breaking. He only sounded good in Talat's songs and really butchered Rafi's songs.
