I know life is not constant.. it has its ups n downs.. still I say that LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL..

Life is beautiful

In the evening maladies of melancholy comes and stands by the door,

Her face is hidden, from the dying sun she took some colors
the melancholy comes in the evening,

She follows me – I scuttle as fast as possible
I crossed from the evening to the night, from the night to the dawn, then the morning, the noon, the day, the month
Crossing water, tree, boat, city, hill
Crossing blows, stumbling, poison, suspicions, jealousy, graves, genocide, the bones and ribs of civilization, swamp and grass
Then crossing my own death, death after death, going on and on

I stopped one day – closed my eyes – wish not to open it again

Still dreams creeps in – pixy-dust, fairy tales

Hieroglyphics on my ribs

Lungs flushed with nicotine and burnt diesel

Still jasmine fills my mind and soul

Jasmine... Jasmine...

Dawn tiptoed in
on a rooftop far away – one adolescent boy embracing the sky
watching that - time forgot the count of moments
I spread my clipped wings
to be the part of that moment

I am Kavita Gupta (Naik) from Karnataka now I live in Tucson Az with my Hubbie Pankaj.. . I am in my 30's... I am 5.7.5" Tall.. got typical south Indian look.. I did my diploma in Hotel Managment n catring but worked as a Travel agent for nearly 10 yrs.. got friendly nature, I am a good cook...
