I love Sharib too. I said "it made him look like" not he is.

I completely agree Ujjaini's answer should have been judge me on my singing but during the interview she has come across as an airhead. There was NOTHING that she said that can be construed as insightful. NOthing at all. You would think after a win of this magnitude, a week or two later she would have re-evaluated her performances and had something meaningful to say especially if they knew this interview was coming up. Aishwarya on the otherhand actually said somethings that were insightful and honest like U's pain affected his performance, the "blow" comments made him feel like he did not belong on the show, U crying over his mistakes. He may have been green but honest. Ujjaini was NOT.

Questions given to them by producers is not a good excuse, these kids are supposed to have formed lasting friendships during the almost year and half spent together on SA RE GA MA PA. They should have shown more sensitivity on that subject. Sharib and Ujjaini are about the same age so kidding about her weight between themselves would have been ok but insisting on the answer to direct question on weightloss plans on national television? It definately made Sharib look bad to the millions of voters who voted for UA.

Agree. He has really blossomed into a sophisticated young man --- much
less the weepy insecure boy who started out. I also liked that he was able to
laugh at his own cry baby image (like Ujjaini).

But I still love him the best for his singing. Ya Ali is just so good.

beautifully said... he's really grown up..and he is much more confident, cool, and definitely much less of a crybaby...both Sharib and Banjo have turned out beautifully..Banjo is more confident than ever and she was always a really good person but now her singing is turning out to be quite nice too! best of luck to both of them....but i do think Ujjaini is still a crybaby though Sharib has changed....i think i love Sharib for everything about him...😃

yeah, but Sharib's hair must need a lot of treatment for it...i mean first they cut his hair, then straightened it, then added color and then gelled it! (sorry completely off topic, but it's true you know) god....at first his hair kinda looked fried 😆 but he's still really really really cute!

Thanks Just4me. You are right in stating that you point was that it made him look like a loser and not that he is one. my apologies for mis-reading that.

However i have to differ with you on the producer's point. I do believe that the producers of the show exert a very heavy influence on all these kids and not necessarily to their betterment. If you are 17, completely aware of your restrictions in getting an international platform without the aid of such a big production house you would toe the line and "obey" their orders even if it meant asking a friend about their weight in such a public platform. Zee in turn probably got the feedback that thats what people are talking about and decided it would be a great way to end the show. I wouldn't be too surprised really if even their answers were scripted to a large extent
