Great topic, excellent articles and most of all the beautiful songs.. (and of course the mouth watering posts too 😉) ..brought back lots of memories..

Among rain songs, it reminded me of the "pop" song by Shubha Mudgul - "Ab ke Sawan" and its video ..and the classical song "Badal Ghumad Kar aaye" from the movie Saaz which Ronkini Gupta sang so brilliantly in the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa World Series....Anyone remember that?

3.garjat barsat saawan ayo re,layo sang mein hamre bichde balmva...

4.sharabi sharabi yeh saawan ka mausam,khuda ki kasam khoobsoorat na hota,agar isme range mohabbat na hota...

1)Jhir jhir barse saawan from Aashirwaad
2) Dar laage barase badariya
3)O ghata saavarein from Abhinetri

All beautiful songs! I had recorded a full cassette of what I call my monsoon songs and would play it whenever it started raining!

Oh yes, all classics. Jhir jhir badarwa barase is a fantastic song. Also the song from Prem Patra.
