" SMS TALENT HUNTS ".

i AM NOT BOASTING BUT I FEEL THATITS VERY GOOD . YOU WILL ALSO LIKE IT AND I HOPE U THINK ABT IT SERIOUSLY.

MANY MEMBERS HAVE VIEWED IT .

BUT VERY LESS REPLIES!!

i ONCE AGAIN SAY ATLEAST SEND REPLY AS ATLEAST "AGREE" OR "DISAGREE"

THE ARTICLE:::

hI EVERYONE I AM NEW IN THIS FORUM.i AM IN MY 3RD YR ENGG.AND RECIEVED AN OFFER FROM TCS (any help regarding software and education is welcome .i can give my email also)

suppose raktima,debojit,ujjaini,sharib (these r good not "the" best)

would come in top 4 of c2005

other great singers like nihira,hema,himani,vinit wouldnt be noticed at all.

coz as the competition increases more ads on tv make them more popular.also people like pritam,subhash ghai.etc come on final parts of the show.

so everyone(mentors and lay man) would have said nihira,hema,himani,vinit are good but as far as exposure is considered they wouldnt get as much .

same with Indian idol

if karunya was out first week who would ask for him.(he had to carry out his struggle,only adding as among top 12 of finalists in his biodata , inspite of he deserving to be atleast in top 2)

its sonu nigams repeated comments week after week that made lay man think that there is something really good in karunya.

SO STOP WASTING MONEY IN SMS'S AND IF U REALLY WANT TO SMS , THEN VOTE FOR SOCIAL ISSUE POLLS ON GOOD NEWS CHANNELS (SOME OF THE POLLS ON SHOWBIZ ARE AGAIN WASTE OF MONEY).

we are the future of this of this country and let us not waste money for no good.

this may sound too "preachy" .but its better to give crores of rupees(nearly 5crores only during grand finale of C2005) to some poor people.

even if u are bored and consider this as a lecture.i would tell u to see how poor people live.we being in metropolitian cities dont know scene of villages even few hundred kilometers away from us.

IT IS WE YOUNGSTERS WHO TAKE INITIATIVE AND STOP VOTING THAT SMS SHOWS WOULD BE CANCELLED THROUGHOUT.AND REGULAR SHOWS THAT USED TO CONTINUE WOULD CONTINUE.

HELP IN SAVING CRORES OF RUPEES GOING WASTE!!!!!!!!!!

Actually Copying things directly from west(American Idol and voting scheme) is ridiculous in country where there is diversity in language,region,etc.

Obviously there is loss of talent on the basis of regionalism.

Maharashtrians are poor at voting (Nihira, Amey date)
Actually many in Mumbai are outsiders who again support their "soil children"

South doesnt watch hindi shows (hemu,karunya)

And SUPPOSE EVERYTHING GOES RIGHT and people vote for real talent then also THERE IS A LOT OF WASTE OF MONEY.

LOT MEANS CRORES & CRORES OF RUPEES.

Actually all is done for business in the name of TALENT
AND WE ARE PUPPETS OF THE WHOLE SHOW!!

TRP FACTOR:more people vote more the people await to see results.But if show is good (w/o SMS) people will see for entertainment.
Eg : laughter challenge( voting only in semis and finals)


CONTRACT FACTOR: channels give contracts on the money they make out of SMS's.If SMS's are rubbed off True talent will come out And exposure they naturally get by repeted ads on tv will anyways help!! No need of contract
they will directly get good offers.(T series offered album to sonu nigam)


So plz stop wasting ur useful money.

Not good to impose ... it's a personal choice that every individual should make on his / her own ....

If someone has excess of wealth and wants to splurge on a contestant, he / she is free to do so ...

Bottomline : As long as you're not forced into voting and you vote of your own will, voting is welcome ...

Btw, Bittuji ... such a long introduction with Engineering 3rd year, TCS and software and what not. I guess it wasn't needed. Just my POV. No offence meant.

On the way around people think they are spending money for selecting the future musical talents whom everyone wishes to enthroll the audiences in the coming years.

I think People in India are wasting their money on SMS voting because real talent is not winning.. it is all publisity..

public hesitate to call thier friends n family but spend money on these wasted programmes.. does anyone remember Quzi??? but so much money went wasted to select him...

Let a good judge/judges to select the winner and SAVE MONEY..

But what I wanted to say was that copying voting scheme from america (American Idol) where there is no great diversity as there is in india .

I feel 95% that none of the southern contestant will win these shows even in future.

Are we choosing real talent!!

And as I said popularity of contestants increases week after week.
Suppose Karunya,hemu,nihira,vinit were eliminated in initial weeks due to regional voting for other contestants no one would have noticed them as the finalists!!

So I somehow feel real talent is not won here!!

ALSO EVEN IF REAL TALENT WINS still investment of crores of rupees in form of calls and SMS's is not worth it.

Shreya,sunidhi,kunal,etc are excellent examples of talent w/o SMS,s

good uknaik U remembered me of Qazi!!

Even Abhijit sawant had only one album And even II2 results are out.

we will see what debo does in future!!!!

So after investing in Crores this is what u get :ALBUM OF 8 SONGS (that also not free as u have voted for him.
u again have to pay 150 bugs!!!!!!!!)
