Very good going so far, Deep…👏 You have made all of us very proud…😃
This morning, I would like to know your take on some of the more serious issues. 😳 Here you go:
1. The brain drain phenomenon affecting India. Even if you look at the forum, some of the best brains (you, Anol, Rahul) are settled outside the country now though brought up in India. Not considering Adi, Shady and others who were even raised outside the country.
Are you talking about brains going down the drain????
On a serious note,i know its not a good thing to happen on papers but if you consider the amount of foreign cash inflow to India you should not be that disappointed. The main purpose is to stabilse the economy of our country and fortunately or unfortunately this brain-drain does it to a great extent.I also feel that we are at such a juncture where this brain drain is somehow essential to boost our economy and help our country get a foothold among the world's leading countries.A couple of decades down the line you will surely see a reversal of this trend where equal opprtunities will be created in the country and people will attain a similar profile being in the country.Your son will not be humiliated by the parents of a NRI taxi driver...'Hamra beta toh Amricaaa mein rehta hain..aur uska khud ka Mercedez bhi hain ..' You can reply back on her face..'How many passengers does he ferry in one trip??'
2. The ever increasing trend of pre-marital physical relationships
Its again a personal choice.Should not be blown out of proportion.
My suggestion to those...'Please be faithful..You too should share the bed.The bed should not share you too. Then its all flesh and no thoughts.Sex is one of the most beautiful things that happened to mankind.Let it remain beautiful and let that be for the sake of love. There are other ways of satiating your lust.'
3. Man changing from 'Mumma's Boy' to 'Joru ka Ghulam' by a single incident in life
I have a different viewpoint.A Mumma's Boy can always become a 'Joru ka Ghulam' overnight but not a rational individual.I would say .'Stop being a Mumma's boy even and be a man.Mom & Wife-you will have 'em both,as long as you want them to coexist.'
4. Having a separate establishment away from your parents after marriage
It depends on your viewpoint. If its because your job demands that i support that. But if your wife demands that ,i am against it.Parents are the ones who brought you to this world and made you right for the lady you will spend your life with.Should show some respect for them and if she is the girl who loves you she will neve hurt you.
On the flip side why don't we start contemplating something where the guy has to be at the girl's house to have a feel of it and who knows , it all becomes a joint family then. The word 'nuclear' sounds good in physics books...but in society, its quite mean.
5. Same-sex preferences
Its all biological phenomenon. In other words God's will.We should not intervene.Let him/her have his/her share of joy of loving in his/her own way.Its man who made the rule of different-sex preferences. What if the pioneer of this thought little differently that day???Men wouldn't have brothers and women sisters.Lets not tamper with someone's own choice thats not harming the world.Start saving your energy for some greater cause.
6. The 'perfect' man, who can whole-heartedly accept that woman can be more capable than him and support her without any complex
Honestly speaking ..he cant. Its all in the system that we are in.Blame it on him who made this society a patriarchal one or blame it on me for echoing the same voice but the truth is ugly. Its not that i don't want to do something in that line but scared of my superior lady's best female friend commenting on my ability to make her happy. Its not always fair to blame the male E. G. O , that was given birth by some male only but definitely got nurtured by female sentiments and their submission to it.
I apologise for this reply.
7. Morality and honesty just reduced to dictionary words in today's competitive world
Still better that they have a place in the dictionary. Some more simplification of raagaas and you will see that they have completelyvanished.
8. The legendary Asha Bhonsle re-hashing Pancham tunes to release a new album
Thats a tribute to a legend proving the fact by reiterating the truth- Pancham is a legend.A full circle huh!!!!
9. 'Veer Zaara' sweeping the awards over 'Swades' on a given year
In a country where Himesh sells more than paani puri what else do you expect.I am not shocked to see that at all.
10. The reality behind 'Reality television'
The only reality is that its a height of virtuality and complete rape of reality.Hence you need elements like love story and regional votings to tittilate the commonman's emotion and blackmail him thoroughly.Once that is accomplished its all really virtual.
