The voting is based on only one criteria - how they gave points/stars.

ID, even if he wasn't biased, gave too many points without really thinking or justifying it. HH is more careful with his stars. Even though has has much less stars than the mentors had points. But they still gave out 10s, and he doesn't even give 7 unless they're flawless.

OK, I agree with you shady bhai, but you will have to admit that the performances in c2005 were much superior than emet.

Yes they were.. but still doesn't warrant a constant barrage of 10s, when there are 9s and 8s.

I honestly feel the mentors didn't really evaluate the technicalities.. if they liked what they heard, and there were no glaring technical faults, they gave their 10s.

One example is Aadesh - he had a huge argument over the use of clicks in Vinit's Aaja aaja, and he also said Vinit went wrong quite a few times, but at the end of it all, he gave him 10, saying it's not going to help you in the long run. What the 🤬! Those are points to be earned, not given away like free sweets just to prove your point.

We are yet to know how HH gives points/stars to contestants of other gharanas in case he was a mentor.

I agree.. in that case, this poll is wrong. HH and LL should not be compared with the others. It's apples and oranges again.

As for AS giving a 10 to Vinit for Aaja Aaja - I think he made it quiet clear that with that fixed performance of Vinit, the points really did not matter 0 or 10.. Definitely Vinit did not earn it (possibly he did not earn any that day - trying to manipulate) and hence any points did not matter.. I think, AS and HR giving low points to Debo after ;na to karwa ki talash hai' was lot more inexplicable... same thing for HR giving low marks for one of Nihira's songs... But what was very stupid in C2005 was the initial rounds was the thumbs up and down thing by mentors.. so qualitative and no one bothered to explain...

As for HH too - I think he started off not very impressive - he would give a 4 to 5 to one and all irrespective of a good or a bad performance.. its lately that he differentiates between performances through his stars and thats commendable

The singing in challenge 2005 is a hundred times better than emet.Hariharan would have fainted if he heard hemachandra's nahi samne, and hai rama yeh kya hua.Because he sang better than him.
It's like comparing world cup cricket to a local club cricket competition.
Shadyhtown again makes irrelevant statements. The mentors were no doubt partial in giving points. But there are three singers who consistently got 10 points in the last episodes. They are vinit, nihira, himani.Debojit got 10 points only once.Twinkle did not get 10 points after singing hungama ho gaya outstandingly.Hemachandra got 10 points only a few times. But they deserved it.

Hema was very good in Nahi samne and Ramta jogi but you should not that he was better that Hari Haran. That's simply wrong.

Absolutely agree... Even I think 'Haye Rama' and 'Nahin Saamne' were perhaps the 2 best performances of Hemu, but cant simply be compared to HH.. HH is legendary 😊

I remember one round, when there were 11 people remaining I think.. the mentors gave full 10s to about 8-9 of them.. I agree they were good, but were they absolutely flawless? And were all of them equally good? They could have had a couple 8s or 9s to kind of differentiate between them.
