The composer/MD is always the boss.. that's what he probably means by seniority - in position, not age

The singer, no matter how respected, has to go by the MDs vision of rendering the song.. they can offer opinions/suggestions, but the final word is that of the MD

Well one thing I'll give HR is that he's been honest about public voting right from the start - unlike AS, who mid-way turned unsupportive of the idea on the issue of home-based votes. While Himmy, though unhappy with the constant home voting for Debo and none for Vinit, never really did question the system of public voting.
