I think a person is better known by her thoughts and words - and thats what we share here in this forum. The physical appearance becomes immaterial in that case.😊 Anyway, the face in my AV shares my name, and I am proud of that😛

My mother - All credits to her in shaping me up as a person that I am today. She is extremely lovable, very level-headed, very witty, too patient to handle everything big and small and loved by one and all. I will always strive to be like her, and even if I achieve 10% of that, my life is made.😊

Na hanyate - Mahashweta Devi (Bengali)

Pather Pachali - Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhaya (Bengali)

Shesher Kobita - Rabindranath Tagore (Bengali)

Namesake - Jhumpa Lahiri (English)

Ofcourse the talented Punjabi singer - Any contest should always be all about talent and nothing else should be a deciding factor there!

6)Are you a Bengali first or an Indian first?

Indian all the way - Bengal is very much a part of India only😊 Also, I have grown up in different parts of India as a child, and am very cosmopolitan in my outlook😛

7)If you could compare yourself to a Bengali dish, what would it be and why?

This is a tough one. Lets see - I think I will compare me to 'patishapta-r pithe' (sorry if this is too alien to you) - It is a special bengali sweet - Coconut and jaggery stuffing wrapped in 'sweet dosa' kind of shell... So, its all about a simple vanilla outlook with a sweet and deliciuous core😛
