Maybe, people dont care so much about the talent per se, it is about other factors - arrogance versus simplicity, rich versus poor, etc etc -

Very correctly said. I think every competition while selecting the contestants, look their background - Rich or Poor, their personality, are they from south or North or East or West, their parents etc etc and THEN IF THEY ARE talented. I thought this was a music program. No comparison of Rajeev & Debo. Debo is a very well trained SINGER and sang songs of different types - classical / western / Romantic / Sad..... Having said that there were others with equal caliber but not all can be winners. Anyway, what I want to say is this is Music Based Program and the voters make a decision based ONLY on Music and that too in that period. May the best singer win. May the force be with him (or her)
