Firstly, he does have an incredible voice. He sings with a depth and
passion that is rarely seen today. I will never forget that Yaar Ko Maine
audition of his. Incredible. All the mentors clapped after that
performance. He put Kunal G to shame. Also he has a unique voice and
not to sound like Himmy but the industry is aching for new voices.
Having said that, he is woefully in need of training and his performances
have sometimes been pathetic.

Secondly Zee has done an excellent job of packaging him and his story.
Remember his nightmares and then need to cook chow mein!

I find him to be mostly gauche but he probably appeals to a lot similar
peeople. He represents everyman with a dream.

Also he comes off as the underdog and the wounded dog with everyone
ganging up on him. Sharib was smart enough to play his younger brother
to get himself some of that sympathy.

Look I like Rajeev but he is not the best singer there at all!

If Zee had any decency, they would pay for his training. They could do
that. Remember that American white girl who was on SRGM and Amjad Ali
Khan requested Zee for a scholarship to study music in India. I forgot her
name but you must remember it.

Well that is my long opinion!

Oh,tumne mere muh ki baath cheen li.I too love his yaar ko maine song and believe that to be his best ever.I wish rajeev would sing that song in this contest. He has a G8 voice,is humble and down to earth. We have every reason to vote this simple guy from chamba.👏

He is a good human being and that fetches him the maximum votes from all over the world. "Satya ki he vijay hoti hai" - this happened with Debo and now its Rajeev's trun. 99% people who have come to number one level in their lives have struggled in the beginning and have faced rejection but they emerged to be a real winner in life.

I am glad TV is out - they r the crudest people on the show.

I agree to your point that Rajeev appears to be humble and very down to earth... His struggle so far, plus his 'humans make mistakes' image is surely helping him a lot in terms of garnering votes... Humility is the first step to success and Debojit just proved that so appropriately.

Lets not even compare Debojit and Rajeev singing-wise, Rajeev has miles to go to reach there. But yes, I think given appropriate training - he will turn out to be a good singer. His 'yaar ko maine, mujhe yaar ne' in the preliminary rounds of C2005 and then 'Rang de basanti' in the finals were superb!

Really not related to the topic but I am a bit removed from what's happening in EMAET in India (Hell.... I don't even know what's the current scenario in USA but that is another story - another day 😆 )...

so question is .... are there only two "jodis" left in India now??? and are they SR and BS?

Danke Schoen !
