BTW Sahana, Yeh sad song wala funda kuch samajh mein nehi aa raha hai. I would any day prefer a sad song of SD than a fast song.

To me it looks like the judges, whoever they are, prefer peppy numbers over weepy numbers! 😊 So we have to fall in line. Of course, SD Burman has made enough songs in every genre so that we mentors won't find it tough at all to allot songs. Imagine if we had been told that the theme was "happy" songs made by Ismail Darbar or serious songs made by Himesh or something like that! 😊

I just hope that the future rounds won't have too restrictive a theme especially when the MDs or singers aren't as prolific as SD Burman.
