What is Chemistry ?!

I was watching the Apr 27th episode yesterday and there is so much talk about 'Chemistry' and 'EMET Magic'.. What is this chemistry and magic ?

How important is chemistry and magic ?

If the purpose is to look for singers, is chemistry really that important ?

If the purpose is to look for performers, do the singers have to touch each other so much?

I understand chemistry between an actor and actress, but do you think that the chemistry reflects in voice too?

What say ?!

Chemistry (derived from alchemy) is the science of matter at or near the atomic scale. In this pursuit chemistry deals with the properties of such matter, the transformations of matter and the interactions of matter with other matter and with energy. Chemistry primarily studies atoms and collections of atoms such as molecules, crystals or metals that make up ordinary matter. According to modern chemistry it is the structure of matter at the atomic scale that is determinant of the nature of any given matter.

Magic or sorcery are terms referring to the alleged influencing of events and physical phenomena by supernatural, mystical, or paranormal means. They can refer to cultural complexes of beliefs and practices that believers can resort to in order to wield this supernatural influence; and also, to similar cultural complexes that seek to explain various events and phenomena by supernatural means.
