in the last 10 yrs or so with the old sgmp, how many have gone on to make it? shreya, kunal? am sure there must be others too, but they're mostly doing stage shows, aren't they?

as for the II folks, not that i saw any of it, arent those folks better off, considering they didnt have a lot of talent to start with?

yaar, in any competition, only one or two win the prize. so technically almost everyone is a loser. but in the grander scheme of things, with the new sgmp, they are all winners- they got precious face-time before the public, something normally folks have to pay a lot of money to get.

the walls have ears also, so they say. so we shld have the old sgmp format? wld that make everyone happy? we know that there wld then be just 1 winner. what wld happen to all the others? same as what has happened to all the so-called winners and losers of all the previous shows on sgmp? bahut teer maar liya unhone?

There is not doubt Karunya should have won and that Amey should have been in the finals. That's the way the cookie crumbles. Either you have a popular show with audience involvement and dramabazi or a less popular show which limited people watch.

Atleast along with the less qualified the talented singers are getting noticed and recognized.

Now everyone knows Karunya and Amey are superb.
It's unfair but this is how these things work. The most important thing is to do your karma and the rewards will come directly or indirectly.

I wanted VInit or Himani to win, but I am glad they got recognition. Plus, I don't feel bad about Debojit because he was atleast a talented singer even though not my favourite.(you cant compare him to Sandeep) Also his win yealded a tremendous amount of peace for the people of Assam. To me that has tremendous power and is more important than anything else.

Dont know if it is the underdog syndrome or what... but during the finals, Sandeep was way off key. Karunya was certainly much better.

Last years was not so bad. Abhijeet was off key, but so was Amit Sana. Rahul Vaidya, despite his huge Sonu Nigam hangover, was still by and far the best.

In the Mohabbatein lutaoonga song, the ending given by Amit Sana was much better, yet the public voting went against him
