I used to love those Children Specials. I wonder if those days of Saregamapa will ever come back?

But we may get to see Sanchari participate in Challenge 2006... who knows, maybe some of the other boys if they have reached a qualifying age. 😊

Although Aabhas may have won and he did deserve to win but my fav boy was Abrokanti. He was so adorable and so wonderful with classical renditions. At such young age and so much talent. 👏

I can't forget Avrokanti's "Jhut kapat..." and his famous "mai to kabhi jhut nehi bolta" 👏👏

100% agree. I miss that wonderful show SRGM! They should have both
formats on - -the kids judged by the greats and the teeny boppers judged
by the audience and the older ones judged by the greats.

I too remember Abhrakanti, Abhas, Sanchari and Shweta with wonder. Abhrakanti stole many hearts on that series!

The kids were so good that I actually don't want them to come back to this voting format and then be discouraged. I think Zee should play those programs in juxtaposition to today's relatively mediocre ones to remind voters of what are really good singing -- and performance, for what else does it mean when we remember each child so well?

Have always loved the kids series on SRGM!
Who can forget Shreya in a party frock and with her hair in a ponytail 😊 And Sneha Pant and Bela and many other talented kids?

Abrokanti was so adorable, I hope he comes into the regular SRGMP once his voice matures 😊 He sung classical songs beautifully 👏

Generally, SRGM has the kids specials at least once a year. I'm hoping GS will plan for a special series once EMAET is over.

Hi,

I am not sure but I may have either video or audio of these kids. Give me a day or so and I will try posting the clips as soon as I get some spare time from work.

Both Abhaas and Obhro were brilliant. I still remember how innocently Obhro said to Shaan "Main to kabhi jhoot nahi bolta" which was followed by a huge laughter from the audience. Obhro excelled in "Jhoot kapat" while Abhas did "Tu hi re" brilliantly.
