I actually got this idea of posting the thread after listening to the song below. I had heard this duet before but had forgotten about it. But when I heard it now, it had left such a lasting impression on me.

Lets post the evergreen and also forgotten duets of our choice. If possible please post the online link to the song too.😊😊😊

Here comes my favorite-

"Aye sakhi radhike bawari ho gayye

Shyam ko dhondte, aap hi kho gayee"

http://www.raaga.com/channels/hindi/movie/H000959.html

This is a beautiful classical rendition by Manna Dey and Lata from the film Jurmana.

Who knows our favorite and not so favorite contestants from EMET might take a clue from here......😉😉

Why are these 'evergreen' duets usually unheard of by the average person?? 😕 😕

IMHO, if it is forgotten or popularly known, then it is not evergreen by definition.

Arre bhai evergreen usse kehte hain jo 30-40-50 saal ke baad bhi nahin bhulaa saktei, chaaho to bhi nahin bhulaa saktei hum.

e.g. Pyar Hua Ikraar Hua, or, Baagon Main bahaar hai, etc.

Sorry for the confusion Zapman ji........I probably should have not used the word evergreen...but something like the " the duet you like most" or something of the sort. I actually wanted to focus on the duets that are not very common or are less heard of but did not want to limit it to them. Wanted to encourage people to post the ones very close to their heart also.

But I guess we can can do that....focus on the ones which are not very frequently hummed.

That is a beautiful one. I remember it now and I used to love it. Can you mention the name of the movie if you can?
