Although pitch is a critical factor when recording vocals, it's the emotional qualities of a vocal performance that make a track really sing. Sometimes the feel of a take is perfect. My opinion only.

His songs are truly difficult and thats why no singers dare to sing his best compositions....but thankfully thats why we can hear his melodious voice...

please dont laugh at my Himesh ji....the more you laugh at him ...more he will compose and every next song will beat the previous one...believe me Himesh jis compositions are real classy and they are evergreen....

KB, great topic!

i think the ethics of it all depends on the objectives. if it's a singing competition, then in my opinion any form of Digital Signal Processing is a no-no. it's cheating.

on the other hand, if the objective is to entertain, then i wld argue that good ethics dictates that one use all available means and technologies to deliver the best sound. to not do so means depriving people of the best you can produce.
