New Movie songs

Are you listening to the songs of Gangster? It is good that a few new voices are coming to Bollywood. Mahesh/mukesh Bhatt had introduce couple of Pakistani singers into the main stream Hindi movies and now a Bangladeshi singers is singing for his movie. Its a good initiative and hope music will bridge the differences prevailing with these countries.

Another singer I would like to mention is Zubeen. "Ya ali" is the song in Gangster sung by Zubeen. If i am not wrong he has sung "Jaane kya hoga rama re...." from 'Kante' along with shaan. He also sung in Ramu's movie Ek Hasina Thi. The same singer had released an album (Forgot the name) with Jojo, a few years back. "Yuhi kabhi mila karo" was the title song of this album.

I got to know from one of my friends that Zubeen is preparing music for a movie to be directed by Pooja Bedi's brother. NO more information on this. Listened a song titled "Om......" very strong lyrics. If anyone has any information on it please pass on.

I really HATE to admit this but there's the title song from Banaras (ye hai shaaan Banaras ki...) thats sung by Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar (Sivamani has been credited for this one as well) - I actually liked that one...

It must have been the percussion and the lyrics... 😛 😆

Sivamani is an excellent artist. He has the capacity to create music from anything. Once AR Rehman told in a interview that Sivamani is the person who provides maximum inputs to his compositions. Have you seen Sivamani's' Jugal Bandi' with Zakir Hussain? It was such an amazing program.
