C-2005 mentor or participant topics are allowed but then it should be regarding some new news about them. Not related to the old show. If today Debojit or Vinit comes out with a new album surely you can post it. Similarly if Himeshji tomorrow releases a new album then why not share it with everyone.

But discussing C-2005 related stuff will not be allowed anymore. And with that we mean C-2005 show related not the mentors or participant related.

HR means Haridas Rao who is my neighbour and who has tried to device vaccum cleaners and now composing some music for our local antakshari contest..where majrooh sultaanpuri came as a special guest...

Hav i again said something to raise my warning level????????? or my warning vanishes as i was not explicitly attacking any SRGMP mentors!!!!

Or we finally head for some other forum where humour doesn't invite banning????????

Humour is one thing but personal attack different. It was just not those lines which got you the warning. You made many more personal attacks made by you in that post. That line is just one example.

Bhaskar, just one query .... now that the word "nasal" makes it to the dictionary of unusable words ... do we have to fake or lie even when a famous MD sings with nothing but his nose ... something like "the voice came from the deepest echelons of the throat" ?

On the whole, it's nice of Bhaskar and Priya to take certain steps to make the forum cleaner and a better place ... kudos to both of you !!!

However, these days a lot of non musical posts are flooding this SRGMP forum ... all about fellow members (share a room, share a song, song title for fellow member and what not ...). One or two is fine but there has been a huge spurt in these kinds of threads that doesn't discuss music ....

Under what categories does these threads classify ... these threads run into 70+ pages and turn more into frivolous chat threads .... shouldn't these be moderated as well ?

Last Question .... can I make a post on film directors here in this forum .... nothing to do with music but the use of film canvas .... ?

I can only advice you - Never lie😃 .

And having said that, I must reiterate here that calling HR nasal cannot in itself be wrong, for it is a physical trait, something entirely out of control. But when the same expression Nasal is used in a derogatory fashion, intended to put down the person, then it takes on a different connotation and then his fans get hurt. Our idea is to avoid those posts.

For eg. Mentally challenged is a state of mind. It is a condition of a human being. If he is truly mentally challenged, then using the expression to describe his state of mind or condition is fine and not intended as derogatory. But the use of same expression for someone who is in full use of his mental capacities and not proven medically otherwise, is an insult and his fans would obviously be hurt.

Agree. Lets all make an effort to come up with some fun posts where all the forum members can participate. There are many here who do not like to read about old Music directors and old songs. So lets find a middle path, for all members
