- just a response to some of the flack directed at GS for the new format.

I agree rahul that GS in response to indian idol revamped sa re ga ma pa and it was a success this show on the other hand is a pure waste.

Its not worth the time . I mean the singing is not upto par, the quality of the sets is poor, the av's they show are so cheesy, the hostess with shaan is annoying shaan alone was perfect.

these judges too are not upto thestandards though alka is apperaring /

mainly the show is in poor taste as is the writing.

the glory of sa re is not there sare2005 at issues yet singers, quality, judeges, etc... was way intriquing than this.

this has had more gossip than the other since no substance so adding malsala

I think Sony should now come up with a program similar to the old SRGM(P). All the fans of the old SRGM(P) will happily move over Sony for Good, quality music. Then what will Mr GS do?

only problem maam is that if there were more viewers to be had either sony or zee wld have tried to cater to them. very hard for a product to make everyone happy. as long as they feel they are getting the bulk of the viewers, they wont lose too much sleep over losing the golden-oldies😆

Yes, but I do think the 'golden-oldies' covers a much bigger demographic (teens thru old age), than the 14 - 30 yr old target audience, which seems to be the primary audience for these Idol type shows. Just look at the type of songs being played, wardrobe, wierdo dancer-girls in some cases. (But I guess the 14- 30 yr olds are the ones who probably spend the SMS money etc.)

first, lemme clarify- golden oldies as in a catchy phrase for old-time viewers. those folks do not have to be old. after all, sgmp has been around for only 10 years or so?

i dont really know the demographics the channels are seeing. but what i do believe is that they know how to do their job well. or are at least trying to in the way they understand. for them, it has to be about money and profits. that profit maximization objective is the focus their millions of shareholders would also want from them.

btw, the shareholders would easily outnumber the number of golden-oldies.

Well frens, I think these kids like Viswanath and all does this kind of stupid acts just get some importance or to get some extra attention from viewers. So, frens simple ignore their odd caricature and pay fewer attentions to this kind of news.

when is the episode gonna be aired-thursday or friday
