In hyderabad sony is more popular n most viewed than zee channel.I guess karunya is most popular.

Now both r popular in Hyderabad.

hemu is a better singer but karunya is more popular as since hemu lost, ppl r gearin up 2 make our hyderabadi boy karunya win.

Actually I agree that Kolkata leads the way in singing talent in India

We've had past greats like Kishore Kumar, Geeta Dutt, as well as current stalwarts like Abhijit n Kumar Sanu (or is it Shanu?😕)

In the current competition we have Saptak, Ujjaini, Raktima.. even C2005 winner Debojit is Bengali living in Assam.

Even our Shaan is Bengali, as well as SRGM ex Shreya Ghoshal.

Not to mention MD's like SD/RD Burman, among others.

And no, ami not Bengali 😆

P.S. Since this show is more about acting n performance than singing, even some of the top female performers are Bengali - Kajol, Rani, Bipasha, and a bunch of Sens (can't remember them all)😆

Hemu is presently popular here in hyd, have been watching his interviews on many telugu channels. hope the same with karu too. wish them both gud luck.

Every one from Hyderabad and Bangalore please please support Irfan-Sinchan and help them go to the next round.

Its a common sense.....
Both are equally popular.
But only thing is that after realising what has happened to Hema in SRGMP 2005, Hyderbadis have woken up to vote for Karunya and make him winner. Thats all. After Karunya becomes Indian Idol, he too will be more popular on most of the channels like Hema is now.......
So you cannot differentiate as to who is popular.
My answer would be Both are equally good and sing in their own styles and both are popular......so wait and watch, both are going to rock the industry and both will make Hyderabad proud. Even Hyderabadis will be confused to choose between the two..........WAIT AND WATCH
