Folks,

There used to a music program every night at 10PM on Vividh Bharti. Excellent them based songs by Kanta Gupta. I dont know if it still runs and if it does, how many listen to it

I found this site by one Sami Mohd. He has an online version of it. Very interesting.

Take a look and see. I got all nostalgic.

Hope you like it.

Yep,
In Delhi it used to come on at 1068 or 1368 KHz :)

There also used to be a "Fauji bhaiyon ke liye Jaymala" (Saturday being special Jaymala with a celebrity)...

Chaya geet was perfect wind down after a long day. That is what my father used to tell me. We used to sit outside in Delhi in the summer and listen to music. Sometimes, he would end up inside with the harmonium if he liked a song and sure enough neighbors would gather aroud and listen..

Sorry I got nostalgic.
