In my opinion, Hrishikesh has one of the best voice(or perhaps the best)among the male participants of saregamapa...We dont see his name in Hindi film industry. Its amazing how much competiton is out there to survive in Hindi film industry as a singer. Or it is your gentleness which comes in your way of making it big in the industry..

Is this the competition or lack of connections or pursuing things too gently which come in the way of becoming a success in film industry..Debojit and his mentor Ismail Darbar are both seems to be in that "idealistic category". Ismail has already got a good name but I read not very busy these days..That is depressing..HR on the other hand is pretty active and is having the maximum work these days..

What tricks HR has in his bags and would he pass it on to Vinit..Would Debojit follow footsteps of his mentor..Who will be more successful in the end..Seems like winning these compettions don't do much. There is a long list of people who have won saregamapa competitons and very few have made their mark in the industry including Kunal Ganjewala and Shreya..Any body having knowledge of what is required out there..😃

VINIT!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you. Peaple say simplicity is the best policy but when it comes to getting a job, it is the gentlemen who never win. Everyone says good things about people like them, but very few can actually come up in the world because people only give you jobs when they are impressed and they are impressed when you show off and make yourself seem bigger than you are.

I agree. I have been thinking the same thing. Thanks for writing it. i
keep hoping that
somehow a good guy will come out on top but I feel like neither the
public nor the MD's appreciate talent. They care more for marketing.

My guess is that both may haev better luck in regional films.
Hemachandra is lucky in that sense as there is a large scope for work in
the South and in any case generally people from the South appreciate true
talent.

dotdiddydotji, love the way you write btw. However, don't you think that even Tarzan did all of his chest beating out of something nobel like love? And his chest beating was a natural instinct. The 'chest beating' that goes on today is generally done for something petty like money or power and those who don't do that sort of thing don't do it because they have a different way of showing off. They are the people who think that their true talent does not need to be shown off, it is there and will be seen when they sing. And the beautiful thing about people like them is that this is a natural instinct for them. That is what makes people like them so nobel and wonderful.

There is one big difference. Hrishikesh behaved like a sport trying to seek votes only based on his performance unlike debo - who had to appear pathetic, seek sympathy votes and create a huge chaos about regional biases... Hrishikesh was much more of a gentleman than the manipulative debo!!!!

Exactly!!! my thought and there were many more gentlemen, so why make a big deal about these two.!!! Wasnt Debojit much older than all other participants!!
