Nobody else had a chance except DEBU

Ya.... That's true. Couldn't you see it coming? Right from the time the public voting started Debu's NE saw this as a chance to make him a winner. Every AV before the show, Debu would be just talking about the votes from NE. Some of the stuff he said :
1. The phone lines fron NE are down (which means he was not confident about votes from rest of india)
2. People earning Rs5000 are spending Rs2000 on SMSing for him.
3. The ID drama of staging a walkout in order to get the NE more involved and aggresive about voting for Debu.( which incidentally prompted the walkout of the other participants)

Don't u think it is discouraging for other participants to know that no matter how well they sing (or for that matter how bad debu sings) Debu is going to go thru to the next round bcoz of the votes from NE ? Even ID acknowledged this is one of the episodes where Debu didn't do well - He said koi baat nahin Assam hai na !!!

Even the results on the last day reflect what happened with the votes :

North Zone - 1.5 crore votes
South zone - 20 Lakh votes
West zone - 70 lakh votes
&nbs p; -------------------
&nbs p; 2.40 crore votes from rest of India

Vs

East zone - 3 crore votes

Anyone can understand the result!!!

Inspite of all those votes from the East, Debu managed to win(not BEAT)
with just 50.24 % of the total votes.

That just shows that VINIT is the real voice of INDIA even though Debu got the title and the keys to the flat. I think VINIT will have a better career in the long run AND hopefully BUY a flat in the same building with his own money.

GO FOR IT VINIT.

he got the yellow light not green and then what he said was that the lines in NE were down...so i guess he knew that he wouldn't get much from the rest of india..

I didnt expect this coming from a Moderator..............

Btw at that time the show was encouraging all the participant to ask their homwtowns for votes. Everybody did that- Nihira, Himani, Hema, Rajiv ,etc.

The only difference was that none's hometown listened to them as much as Debo's state.

Anyways theres no point in discussing all this now. Its all over , And Debo is a WINNER in every sense. He came out as the most desrving one once Nihira was out.

Now lets just hope they come up with some better idea for SRGMP this time.

If instead of debo, Hema was in the top 2, I believe Hema would have lost by a huge margin just because Vinit enjoys more fans. So we would have lost a gem (Hema) to a mediocre singer like Vinit (at least at this stage). It's better than debo came to the finals because in my opinion debo and hema both r much superior to vinit. So debo's victory was justified since if hema didn't win it, at least debo did and deservingly so. NE or no NE, I felt the talented singer won. Congratulations to debo and to all who supported him. period.

can someone explain me simple mathematics !
1)If East Zone has given 3 crore votes, what does 3 out of total 5.4 crore votes translate to ??? I think 55.5 %
2) I am sure debo wont get all the 3 crores from NE. No fantacist can even think that all 3 crores from NE like Assam have gone to Debu, and similarly , not all 2.4 crores from north and south would have gone to Vinit only.
3) Lets imagine a probability that each has got 80 % voting from the individual regions, that translates down to Debu bagging at least 54 % of votes.

Now check what happens -----
We have all seen from various news channels, that people of Assam and NE states have become fanatic about Debu. If so, Debu's chances would be at least getting a 90 % voting and not just 80 %.
Going by past records and various discussions, out of 100 in a friend's group, 30 will at least stand for Debu.

Now then , to be more calculative, with all statistics, Debu should have got a voting from a minimum of 54 % to maximum of ~60 %.

Lastly check the situation what happened at Sa Re Ga Ma. 1)What did the Chairman of Hero Honda Grp say at the last , " Even if Debojit is a winner, in our hearts, Vinit is the real champion". Is this remark given for a kid ageing 17 yrs to just pacify him...... tut tut....... he is matured enough by now after facing the stage.
2) In no shows till date hosted by Indian TV, has there been a result as per division of votes as per zones of this country ! IS OUR COUNTRY DIVIDED ?????
This division of votes and display of results as per it, was done to give a cheers to vinit pros.

WIth these things, following are the doubts that come to any logical mind ( and not just any emotional brain !):
1) Did Assam really give 3 crore votes ?????????
Or was it just a fake figure to make us think, that look, this the reason why debo won !!!,
2) Did Debo actually fetch more votes than the mere 50.24 % votes ?????? Was the victory margin so close ???
Can not be.

Lastly we must remember this is just any other channel. It has to sustain its program ! It has to increase its TRP rating ! Whats the harm if some sort of white lies increases its TRP ?????

Finally , Hema rocked. Nihira I missed you. As of the war between Debo and Vinit, we can only feel sorry for Vinit. But then as someone pointed out.......... Even during your school days it is taught that if u are defeated, please shake hands and congratulate the winner. Be sportive. Why didnt Vinit congratulate him ?????????, and hence to conclude I will say, a more humble person won ! A better attitude won !

As far as ur comment is concerned I think its really not in a good taste that now when somebody has been declared a winner ppl questioning his credibility. Also when its not the first time that he has won a saregamapa title. And I think its really not fair to continously emphasising on him getting votes from NE when everybody got most no. of votes from his or her homtown.

I wonder how others wud have reacted if Vinit had got similar passionate response from UP as Debo got from NE. I wonder if it wud have been such a big issue then ?

Very well said and very good statistcal analysis. Is any indepndent audit firm verify the results?. In USA for major competition there is always aruther anderson or earnst and young verify and validate the results.

I firmly believe they have manipulated results. I've read in some news paper that Reliance telecome getting 2 crores per day SMS income from assam only. UP and NE 7 states are most populated areas in India. Zee tv are aware of potential profit they can made from this two region. Thats why I believe they have stage all the mentor drama too.

Betwen Vinit and Debo better singer won, but we all know other singers are more deserving [hemu and nihira] and they could not produce the income that this two have generated.

Vinit and Debo Fan fighting each other and Zee tv [all commrcial interest]won the final game
