Amey is my fav in II2, but Rajeev version was far better than Amey's. Still Amey is a more versatile singer than Rajeev, as he is classically trained and Rajeev has no classical training.

i have not heard rajeev singing rang de basanti as yet since we here in UAE are two weeks behind for Saregamapa, however i have heard amey date and frankly although i like him ( and anatara, karunya in II), this particular did not suit him at all. i was wondering why he selected this song since he sounded so off key. even sonu said that he should have got the track adjusted to a slightly lower pitch , it may have then sounded better. at that time i did not know that rajeev was going to sing this song, but i told my husband that this song was more suited for rajeev types who excel in high pitches.

so oeverall although amey is a better singer, i can gather that rajeev must have beaten him in this song.
