You are absolutely right. even with outpouring votes from NE he barely won the contest. now the question is that is this victory long lasting. Will people of NE are going to buy 300 plus copies each every time Debo releases his album. Most likely not. Rest of india may buy it only if product is good. I am happy for debo he won this because this may be the only golden chance he has because of his age and time constraint.

where as Vinit is concerned he has ahead of the game because time is definitely on his side. He 17-18 and has HR support who is one of the most happening MD of bollywood. People can say whatever they want about him however truth is that HR is coming up with wicked music for younger generation.

Everybody ( and ironically Debu himself too ) knows whos is the real winner. and if u have watched this show carefully then u can very well calculate the popularity and the victory for Vinit yourself. Even Mr. Munjal said it openly ki " ....competition to debujeet nejeet liya par hamari nazar mein winner vinit hi hai...!! " need anything more ?

Fardeen khan never bothered to convey his congratulations to debojeet but was busy with vinit all the time instead .....

...and please check out the votes pattern. Even after getting a huge load of votes from NE ( around THREE CRORE + ) debu was just marginally ahead of Vinit..! Does it tell you somthing ?

Baaki.....if you take this competition as the career building thing then all the loosers...even Sharib have films in their hands. Himani's Chingari debut....Nihira's Bunty aur Bubbly and Kasam se ( TV serial ) Hemachandra's 10 Telegu films and even Mukta Production's film...and Vinit's Rockey.....Bechara Debojeet...abhi tak sirf iss ek Winner ke pass ek bhi film nahin hai..Kya karen!!!!!

It seems that you are not aware, but there is a clause that states that the first audio of the winner has to br thru saregama, that is why Debo has no songs. Since he is the WINNER his first album and song will be the one to be released by saragama, the contract they provided for him.

Second thing you have to realize that saregama is a major corp and they will not invest money into something or someone that is either mediocre or will not succeed. Based on that anlysis alone, Debo is a winner, that is why saregama backed him.

I watched the show and everyone went to congratulate Debo, however, he was hugging ID and that is why most of the people were unable to congrtulate him. Fardeen's personal fav is Debo, but because Vinit was being a cry baby the DECENT thing to do was console him, some thing most of you Vinit fans have forgotten, decency and the fact that you should always be gracious.
