Is it really Voice of India ???

Folks,

I have not watched it yet as I am at work now (US). Just browsing though postings.

Congrats to Debojit and hats of to Vinit.

Looking at the voting trend East Zone 3 crore versus South only 21 lakhs, is it really voice of India.

Though South is rich in arts and culture, they are yet to adopt Hindi program,culture etc.

I remember long time back we used to have a show called Superhit Muqabala and that was top ten Hindi film song of the week. Used to very popular throughout India except some southern states. Then in Tamilnadu they started 5 songs in Tamil and 5 from Hindi and it become popular in Southern states also.

Is it time to have SRGMP or other exciting program to have Tamil/Telegu version ? I just don't understand the calculation between 3 crore and 21 lakhs.

After seeing the dashing performance no one will have the doubt.

Whosoever has heard the newly composed song sung by Debojit will admit this.Compare with the song sung by Vinit-the same old tune-pata pata --of Zangeer starring Big B

No Madhu thats not my question. Probably you are a Vinit fan and hurt.
My question is even now with this generation Hindi is not so popular in South. If this continues, we will loose good singers like Hema. Who knows there are many like Hema

Vinit is definately a good singer. In fact I would say in last 6 except Rajiv and Twinkle all of them are ready for playbacks

Just saw it. Vinit was crying like anything. 2 People I couldn't see after Debu won, one was Hema and the other one was Ujjaini.
Debu was better today than Vinit.
Most of the songs were pre-recorded, specially Himani songs.She just couldn't act properly with lip-Synch.
Todays best surprise was the hatred boy Rajiv.He sang brilianty in the RDB title song.
Debu+Nihira duet was superb.
Lets see next week with loosers.
Is Vinit joining them ?

its because South Indians do not know Hindi (not all). So their viewership of hindi chanlles are limited.

Offcourse....He is india's voice...NE is in India and nobody forced south to not to vote. Obviously countful numbers of vote from south because hardly anybody watches hindi programs in south. and Since hemu lost some people who were voting they stoped voting too. so thats the difference and other reason why so much vote from East zone is because Debo is from east....People from both regions (vinits and debos) tried to give 100% of thier vote and debo's got more votes. so he won. Jo jeeta wohi sikander and whoever loose are LOOSER .....that simple. People who can't stand debo's winning are even bigger looser. SImple

Wake up South India. Today it is multinational,multiculture.Places like Bangalore,Hyderbad,Chennai has more outisders than local people.So this generation should wake up and unite with rest of India. Who knows there are more Hemachandra already exists in south and we are missing them.
I just don't understand why this geneation still couldn't accept at least some things in Hindi
