Sad but true

Even if everyone thinks that vinit is the voice of india and debojit got support from only the NE... the fact remains is that he won and vinit lost.

HR has to take part of the blame. for those of us who were neutral to begin with, slowly developed a distaste for HR's tactics and squarely voted not for the best singer, ( i do not presume to have an ear to decide) so went the opposite of who i thot did not deserve to win for a variety of reasons. Debojit came across as a better human being, vinit came across and cocky. in the field of televsion perceptions matter. Talent becomes secondary to perceptions and likes and dislikes. Not that debojit is not a good singer. he would not have reached the final 12 had he not had talent.

A large number of votes that Debo got were in response to opposition to vinit winning, nothing else. I think i speak for a number of people.

In the end , it comes down to Karmanye vadika raste maphale ... you do your best and God will do the rest. And we all know that both of them worked very very hard. Sometimes its not who the best man is who wins but what destiny has decided for you.

They will both make it in life. The results today came down to who walked home with the title. and Debo's destiny had that in store for him.
