Today's Singers

I was present during the entire contest and it's really sad that few good singers like Debojit never got enough support from other mentors. Neither Ismailji hyped him much. Today I feel proud of Debojit that he have done it and I really appreciate the support he'd recieved from North East and other parts of India. Since I am not suppose to disclose any figure out here, one thing is for sure that Debojit recieved vote from all over India and many votes from USA,UK etc.

Debojit came from a very humble background, but with a lot of talent otherwise he wouldn't have made it to the final 12. It was no public voting initially, but judges who are musical maestros by themselves judged him and cleared him through the final. While I was told to jot down this article, I was listening to one of Debo's song "Ek Hasina thi" and I really had goosebump because he sang the song in his original voice. How come a singer of his calibre didn't get enough support from his opponent mentors. I think Debo was underestimated through out for being an North Eastern (from a small town in NE), but things changed gradually when rest of India saw the power of NE. I won't say that I supported any particular singer or participant because I was the sutradhar and not suppose to give my personal opinion, but in mind I knew that Debo is a better singer than many others and for that I had a fight with one of the judges.

Let's watch out the final on 24th Feb. Fingers crossed, I want Debo to win. I too like Vineet as a singer but you cannot choose two people at a time. My trump card is Debojit.

True he may b supporting Debu now,But His fav was either Nihira or Hemu..Remember on day of Nihira's exit,He said its a loss for SRGMP.On thew day of Hemu's exit He told that Hemu is already a winner

I doubt Shaan will openly come out and say who his fav singer is. I am not doubting the person who has posted this,it just seems very Unlikely of Shaan to say all this. 😕

Shann comes across as a very professional individual. He has no malice and prejudice. Thus, I don't believe that Shann will make such comments. In the past, he has always had good comments about all the participants. I believe that is a great quality of being a host. I am sure that some of the participants may have bonded with him and make a connection with him on a personal level. Perhaps, he has a few favorites, but I don't think that he will make a blatant statement like that.

Please stop throwing mud on Shann, in your ambitions for Debo or Vinit. 😒
