But, Zee TV and Gazzi had to fight the war against the Sony/Star to keep viewers with them, who were moving towards Fame Gurukul or Indian Idol programs. And 'SMS' is the way to keep people connected and involved. They had to take this path, anyway.

My suggestion would be to keep the same format, but use 3 judges at the end. Two of the judges will be someone very respected in this field and the third being the voting system. That way, it will be a fair show which will respect people's choice,too.

Well, I forgot to mention that I don't want the mentors like HR in the show. We are much better without any mentor, than seeing HR's ideotic behaviour on the stage.
