Hello....Sgr3..Please comeout of this ex-SRGM finalist thing Ok.. it has been close to 8 years I believe and also lot of things have changed since and why our decision should be based on something which he has done in the past....I believe to vote or not has to be decided based on the current performances....Also there are no mentors in II2 to screw things up like how they did it in SRGMP..

Please remove the thought of Judging based on what he has done 8 years ago from your mind at least for these kind of reality shows...

If he is worth then he sure will go long way....

Just listen to not just Amey but some of the other singers in II, and if you think they are good, do vote for them.

guys vote for amey date as he is one of the best in II-2.
He is a deserving candidate for the title.He is very talented and sings good too. So guys if u want him to continue to be a part of II then please vote for him.

Now to this debate, why watche these shows as 'shows' ?! Admire the singers as they are. I think the II forum members were just trying to prove a point that SRGMP members have a great listening ear, we should be proud of that!

Unless you are really deaf, you wouldn't appreciate Hema or Nihira (I never heard Sharib so I am not gonna say).. They were truly exceptional and what happened to them was unfair. Let us assume that the show wasn't rigged and they lost because of less votes. They are great singers and also very young and this loss isn't going to affect them drastically. They made their mark already and I think that SRGMP incured a greater loss by them not going to finals.

Saying that, Vinit and Debojeet are superb too and have given some outstanding performances. I wish them good luck for the finals. Maye hte best man win.

Coming to II, take a look at the contestants. Amey Date was an ex contestant of SRGMP and is a good singer. Unfortunately he is 24 already and with such young 17 year old talent RIPE in SRGMP, its hard and winning the II title almost becomes a need. He is excellent and if this was a fair competition without public voting, I am sure he would e the winner hands down. But unfortunately, its in your hands (I saw your, coz I am an NRI too and can't vote).

The Amey Date Fan Club gave a very small request and I think its upto you all if you want to vote or not.

My personal request is, as a Hemu fan, lets not see what happened to him happening to other talented singers, who really deserve to win.

I hope I haven't offended any1 but I hd to say this. Please vote for singers on Indian Idol if you think they are good. No1 is asking to do the mass voting like wat happened in SRGMP. Even one vote is fine! Makes the difference !! Can you imagine if Nihira or Hema got one more vote in that Shaadi episode ?!!? We wouldn't get to see so many more of their performances =D

So guys, sorry to hurt feelings, but vote if you think they are good.

Well, I really had to say that, because everytime I see Amey, Karunya or Meenal in danger, I get irritated.. I was telling my room mate (who is a crazy Amey fan) that if Karunya or Amey get voted out before they make it to top 3, I am totally gonna cut myself off from II !!

If the singer is true, his voice doesnt just touch your heart, it touches the soul and every single vein in your body throbs at the song. I felt tat with Hemachandra, Nihira and then Amey and Karunya! Be it joy or depression, their songs made me feel it..

So just had to share my views..

haan mads amey,meenal, karu is show ki jaan hai. agar woh nahi toh kaise competition? these 3 voices hav the power in thm 2 reach out n touch ur soul whtever type of song they sing. the reason bein they sing it wit full emotion. i hope they go far in the competition n v c a gr8 clash in the finals.
