I just saw the shows and I can definitely say that Debojit and Vinit were not singing live but were doing Lip-Sync.

This is ridiculous...GJ must have taken that decision because he knows these are not two best singers and they might fail in front of live audience.

yaar, give these guys their due. they're herded like cattle from one place to another, no time to rehearse etc. from my college days, i know how bad the audio can be when assembled at short notice. also, they're out in the open, worse than being in an enclosed auditorium or studio. hard to get the accoustics right at that kind of venue. koi aur bhee hota, it wld have sounded flat. the real rockstars u see out west have mega-bucks audio eqpt to go along with their performance. the sgmp folks cant even begin to scrap together eqpt like that.
