Right! Age has nothing to do with music. But to be where these young people are, you need to be disciplined and that has to be appreciated. Debo is equally disciplined to have completed a degree as well as continuing with his music.

The point I am trying to make is that why cant people appreciate talent wherever it is. Not Debo, nor Vinit are perfect in their rendering. However, they are both talented and have mass appeal. Liking is subjective and not always dictated by commonsense. But one has to apply common-sense when one discusses anything in a public forum. I realise that HR is making a fool of himself. But I have also noticed his transition from a quite intelligent sensitive mentor to an emotional mentor. His emotional attachment is excessive. But I cannot blame him. Hence, the whole debate is silly. I have appreciated some of the intelligent analyses in this forum. That's the only reason I read it

i am finding it a little difficult to figure out what position r u favoring in your argument. on 1 hand u r saying that talent should be appreciated (fair enough) and then on the other hand u r making a claim about debo with the following statement "I am surprised he is still there and that brings out the flaws of the system." the 1 in bold blatantly stands in the way of your argument about appreciation for talent.

please, take a firm stand in your argument (whether u support vinit, debo, or any other contestant), otherwise it sounds hyporcritical even if u don't mean it that way. either way, u r free to support whomever u want since it's your personal choice but just say it then.

First of all it's not a program about age, it's about talent. There are lot of aspiring youngsters in our cricket team, but when 32 yr old Sachin comes to bat that gives a lot of weight to the team. And he is an idol to many with what he is still doing today.

17 yrs mein to josh bohot hotey hain, but don't forget the whole country and the system is run by the oldies, even your house. Inke bagayar muh ke baal girogey. They make life simple and enjoyable for people like you. So, better learn to have some respect.

Two points : One - Writing few words in big doesn't make it the truth so u'r better off avoiding it. Two - If I didn't respect the writer's opinion, I wouldn't have spent my time in composing my thoughts and replying to it ... Unfortunately, your post had nothing in opposition save a statement about taking a dig at Debo's fans. Bring the logic in as well.
