Himesh as a music composer and as a singer is topping music charts one after another. Last year his Sufi sung track 'Aashiq Banaya' dominated every party and gathering. In 2006 his compositions in 'Aksar' rocked every music lover and now his debut album 'Aap Kaa Surroor' has turned out to be superhit.

He has become the most sought after music director of the time and his hands are already full with thirty-five films at the moment. He has been nominated for two Filmfare Awards and is seriously looking forward to win it. He said, "I really want to own a Filmfare and I wish it comes true this year."

Although Himesh is singing chart toppers but he wants to remain grounded to his basic root - as Music composer. Himesh said, "Though I'm singing right at this moment, in my mind I'm clear about the thing that I'm a composer first and music direction is my first love and priority. I'll only sing when there is a requirement. When the composer in me feels that I should sing, it'll be then that I'll sing. It's not that I'll be singing in all my compositions. I'll be very exclusive."

Praising Vinit (his protege of Sa Re Ga…) he said, "He is very hard working. He knows the shruti very well and is so good at classical music. He is very learned."

In 2006 Himesh has a lot at hand, "I have 1,000 tracks in stock and you will see a blend of world music with rock." He takes his job very seriously, "I am only 30 and music is like a subject for me. I work like a student in every film."

I am with surpremi. It is true because yesterday itself I have come across one article that someone from pakistan called DJ Akbar has accused him for copying his music.

The whole Forum is with me. This 3 in one HR is good for nothing and SRGMP has revealed him....

You are absolutely right, Adraknath... one doesn't need to be jeolous of HR. If you need to be jealous, you can be that of Rahman or ID or the directors who creates the music from heart and do not blindly copy from sufi/western etc. music. The credit of the popularity of HR's music goes partially to the choreographs/hot sequences , as well.

A real, wise musician should have the basic character of being humble. HR lacks that completely and has become the most ugly musician in front of many, courtesy zee tv/saregamapa/vinit/debojit.... you can deny that, but the damage is already done.

Himesh shows signs of Karan Johar: Lovely Dilshad, Sweet Sweet Nanu, Bechara Aishwarya and now the love of his life Vinit. We cannot even remember the girls in his group because he has always been in fatal attraction with the guys. Thank God, there were only 4 boys under him. I would watch HR closely when I am around him ……
