Break the DUPLICITY of Music Directors

Hi all,

Have you noticed the DUPLICITY of the Music Directors in India ?

Just saw the Shophe-hosted-Shan-judged-kunal-shreya-sunidhi-judges episode (we are 2 weeks behind in Singapore). During the VERY FIRST judging when Sunidhi and Kunal gave less points to the contestants and when Shaan gave a mark less to both, HR and ID both pounced upon them. I am a fan of ID but I did not like the way he said "Main inko apney recording mein marks doonga" - immediatly the singers gave 10 on 10 for all subsequent performances!!! Know the reason ?

In India:

- Music Directors bulldoze the Singers, the singers are at the TOTAL mercy of the Music Directors. Singers - the present generation lot - literally prostrate themselves in front of the Music Directors! Their rozi-roti is controlled by the music directors.

- Music Directors will touch-feet, salivate and lie prostrate in front of Actors, Directors and Producers!!! They were even very hesitant in front of the likes of Akshaye Khanna!! Well, Saman is way out of league!.

Hope GJ and his gang break this duplicity. If one is good, he DOES NOT NEED to pander to these Music Directors.

BOTH VINEET AND DEBOJIT ARE SUPERB SINGERS. By the way, I like the SAREGAMAPA Singers (including Nihira, Himani, Sharib) MUCH BETTER than most of the present-gen singers!!!

that's true as long as the singers are in the initial phase of their career or if they are not popular enough. But the tables can turn if the singers score several hits and establish themselves pretty well. It all depends on how much market demand does a particular singer or a MD enjoy.

That's what I think.
