WHAT HPND TO GAURAV BHANGIA?

yo!

i dunno whether u remember, but when saregamapa was first started with Shaan's episdoes .. the elimination pattern thingy .. there was Dr neha and a guy named gaurav bhangia .. Neha lost. But Gaurav won 10 episodes b4 losing out to Hrishikesh. And at tht time, the rule was once u win 10 episodes non-stop,you would get to have ur own album frm srgmp.
But i hv heard no news of him or his album.
Is Zee really promising?
I mean there was also a talent hunt prog. India's Best..
I hear no news of the winners who were suppose to films with priety, sunny and salman ..

So issit going to be the same for this batch of contestants in srgmp?
I doubt so .. coz they are indeed very popular but my question still remains..

He is singing in stage shows here in the USA. I heard him a couple of years ago. So most of these guys will be doing the same.

Mmmhh .. in tht sense, i think Sony is better at publicing etc .. although Zee has produced much better singers, but Sony has kinda made them stars overnight esp, when Abhijeet won the Indian idol title, only after a couple of weeks, his album was released and was a big hu-ha in the market ..

I thought he was just an average singer and lucky to win 10 episodes. I would have preffered Hrishikesh to be part of SRGMP 2005

Where are u in US and where did u see Gaurav 2 yrs back. I have not seen anything about him singing in LA, CA. I have done searching on google and yahoo and have not found much about him.

he sang in NJ at a charity event for the Heart and Handicapped. My wife and I are involved in the charity to a certain extent

Oops!! Sorry!! Wrong identity. It was actually another very good singer called Saurabh who sang IN USA. Sorry once again

Exactly ! So many good singers like Amey Date, Gaurav Bagia, Hrishikesh, Abhijeet, Shoma, Neha, Ronkini, Rahul Saxena, Arpita Mukherjee.... they were all products of SRGMP .. but out these singers ppl like Amey, Ronkini, Rahul Saxena and Arpita Mukherjee moved to competing in FG and Indian Idol .. this juz proves that Zee tv juz says.. but Sony really makes u a star.

And Hrishikesh,Dr Neha and Abhijeet Ghoshal came to Singapore somewhere in last yr to do shows .. they were really good and down to earth ppl! They said Shaan is very encouraging and is a much better show than II and FG but is not as good as publicising as Sony.

I really wished Hrishikesh to be a part of Challenge 2005. He would hv beaten evry1. He was dammm good. Has an original voice and very trained.

I juz hope singers like Sharib, Ujjaini, Raktima, Himani do not become gumnaam like the above singers and move to Indian Idol3 or FG 2 .. coz they deserve the best.

I far as I know he is in bombay and trying his luck in movies. he has sung some remixes though- I can't remenber which ones but one was very popular.

oh wow remixs .. tht's cool .. One thing i dun like abt remixes is tht not all give the names of the singers. They juz give u the name of the song and which DJ it's remixed by ..
