Not really; but, what a humble singer. His comments really gave me a more newfound respect for Shaan. During the Feb9th episode, he pointed out that all the songs were originally sung by Sonu Nigam. He gave commemoration to Sonu Nigam and even deemed him as the top singer today.

Props to Shaan, for being the best host, and a great singer too.

I agree, being a singer himself giving such genuine praise to another singer is tryly remarkable. He is a GEM of a person and a wonderful singer as well. I wish we could have heard more of his singing in saregama '05. I dont know why gajendra singh couldnt commence the programmes with shaans singing... perhaps he didnt want to take the limelight away from the contestants.

well, you should take into account that shaan sang the main Sa Re Ga Ma Pa theme song, and it plays everytime. Also, he sung in the Feb9th episode. He also sung many times before along with the contestants.

I agree completely...Shaan is so humble and yet holds on to his dignity!! 🤗
His praising gesture for Sonu Nigam, instantly won him so many fans around the world...
