So many interesting topics and some good discussions too..........This forum sure rocks........but I really wonder how some of the young members are so active here.......They not only add pages after pages of new topics but give analysis to each and every thing.....can be seen in every other topic........I would assume that they give a good 4-5 hrs of their daily routine here........This forum is a fun place and you sure learn somethings (sometimes :) but believe me.......looking at your age.....You might regret this in future........in your marksheets........in your career.......

Looking at the friendly atmosphere in this forum....and knowing the fact that people call each other didi and bhaiyas........I think that people should not encourage each other for having 5000+ posts and round the clock presence in here.

Guys, its always a pleasure to see some interesting and healthy discussions in the forum but do fair justice to your other responsibilities too......I hope that people understand what I meant........I have a wonderful job/salary and I too am a regular visitor here .......but its hard to spend more than half an hour if you have a good social and work life........

No hard feelings please......I just wrote in case some of you did not realize that you are doing injustice to your other commitments....

76 views with just 2 replies and 28 poll votes. I am sure people would not want to get into discussing a genuine topic here 😭

19 folks spending more than 5 hrs sure speaks something....atleast about the addiction of IF.

But still.......Can somebody who does not agree with me write his opinion on why I might be wrong ?? Just curious to know.......... 😉

Actually Solid Snake is the person in his avatar. It's the main character in this game called Metal Gear Solid. Great game! 😃

Many of us, especially in US, Canada and UK where cable internet is more widely used, are constantly logged in. This does not mean that we, ourselves are constantly on the computer.
You see Indyaaji...this forum provides several things for us. It is a place where like minded people from all around the world can get together and discuss various topics. It is a place where we can gain knowledge about the musical realm (thank you Sinhaji and KBji). It's a social outlet - in the age of technology, we now also create cyber-social lives. Most importantly, for people such as myself, who are now out of India, it is a way to keep in touch with the culture and happenings of the country.
This forum provides so much more. Those which I mentioned are but a few. I agree, it has become somewhat of an addiction. But think of it this way - wouldn't you rather I had IF as an addiction vs. drugs or alcohol? I am in a relatively safe and well chaperoned/moderated environment where I can perhaps learn something new.
Lastly, I would like to point out that I have "met" and made many great new friends. I don't know if I'll know many of them in later years, but it has certainly been a priviledge to know people like Abhi and Gudia, Sinhaji and Zahidadi, and so many more.
I hope that this is an appropriate response to your question.
