Do you guys think a system like this could work????

I had initiated similar kinda topic sometime before (for 2006) - http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=181869&K W=msr%5Fusa

The following can be suggested to GS:

1. If he still wants to keep public voting system( phone companies must be sponsoring big time!), do not show contestants' faces until final winners (one male & one female) are chosen. Till then, do not reveal their names, from where they are, etc. Let public vote solely on pure music. Once winners are declared, replay those episodes with faces shown. Its about choosing "playback" singers, not someone who can also dance and/or act, correct?

2. For quarter-final onwards, give "same" song to all participants for each gender. Give wide variety of songs so that public can see (sorry, hear!) the depth & range of all participants.

I think with little more imagination, the program can be made interesting and fun filled.

😉 😉 😉

Weightage based on 2 sets. One set consisting of HR. Second set - rest of the world.
Weightage: 100% to 1st set. 0% to 2nd set.
Finals result? Mind-blowing, Superb.
😉 😉 😉

Electoral college is not a solution to regional bias towards voting.. it is only there to prevent huge population bases like major cities to control the fate of an election..

Plus the problem with electoral college is that a person could win the popular votes but still lose the election.. so no one man one vote philosophy..

Multiple voting is good for making money..

hi,

if you people observe from the beginning SRGMP Programme has many defects........lack of proper plan.
only commercial way...though they are presenting as if it is talent search...actual income search is the main thing!!! if u see, in the beginning they announced one boy and one girl as the final winners....(that is proved wrong!!)
secondly.....they announced one flat (Didt announce whether it is a permenent property or for two years ownership!!)
Thirdly, world tour for final four (announced but planning to take only final two)...so finally what I observed is this programme is to make money (in Crores) and not to spend or not to encourage any artist!! Rules are ambiguous....always changing...many loopols...better this organiser should learn many things from Systamatic Standard Sony tv programmes!!! Be plain...be transperent....be honest...dont be so conjuce....this is what i want to tell the Organisers!!
