Solution to Multiple Voting / Regionalism

A system like the electoral college would be a good solution to the regionalism and multiple voting problems. Each section of India should be allocated a certain number of points proportionally equal to its population. If a contestant wins a certain section, they will get a certain number of points.

Do you guys think a system like this could work????

We can have some inbuilt safeguards:

1. Only one vote per landline/cell no.
2. 50% weightage to judges chioce.
3. Reveal contestants' first name only, do not reveal which state they are from.
4. Scrap this silly gharana system. Each mentor teaches/ trains every contestant.
5. Best option would be to scrap public voting.

But I think result will come same as before

1)60% BASED ON JUDGES (GOOD SIGERS AND MUSICIAN ONLY AND ATLEAST 5/6 JUDGES, EACH ONE WILL HAVE TO GIVE POINTS OUT OF 10)
2)40% BASED ON VOTING, VOTING SHOULD BE COUNTED OTHER THAN THE RESIDENCE STATE (BECAUSE IT IS BEEN PROVED NOW THE PEOPLE ARE BIASED FOR THEIR LAND SON/DAUGHTER).

I AM PREETY SURE WE HAVE HAVE MUCH MORE BETTER CANDIDATE AS A WINNER. WHAT DO YOU GUYS SAY???????

Its a good idea, but it may not work because

But people wont vote much when its "negative voting"

And the TV station would not like it because they need to make MONEY 😉 😉

Putting everyone's best thoughts togehter... these ideas look good

• 50% weightage to judges chioce.
• Reveal contestants' first name only, do not reveal which state they are from.
• Do not reveal vote percentages by regions
• dont let the candidates or mentors select songs...
• No slogans like "Lucknow ke nawab", "Haryana Hurricane", "Hot & happening Hydrabaadi", "Lucknow ki shehzaadi", "Kolkatta ki laadli", "Mumbai ki Mulghi", etc for contestants
• Mentors should not get to be judges… only train !!!!!
• Switch mentors/students so that no mentor "owns" a student…

I would still keep public voting because it does one most important thing…

It makes all these singers HOUSEHOLD names !!!!!

The problem is not regional/multiple voting, the problem is public voting
Most of us cannot leave their personal agenda in judging a talent search contestant. We always tend to look for the cute one, the beautiful one, the sad story one, the neglected one, the apne gaun ka chora/choru and then vote
the talent is one of the almost always overlooked in this criteria

The best possible thing would be as someone suggested
%ge of weightage to the judges
%ge of weightage to public voting
%ge of weithage to studio audience

and all disclosed at the same time, noone influencing the other

Just my POV, you can have yours!

Gajendra Singh should first announce his intentions to clean out the trash. Then he should solicit ideas openly in news papers. He should also reward the best idea (some cash prize or something).

Then, and only then, I will throw in my two cents.

Regionalism NEVER works. Ask AS, who now has both his deserving candidates eliminated since he started his India ki voice "crud".

- Send the contestants in HR's gharana straight to the final round so we can be spared the agony...
- Employ Javed Akhtar to write a better dialog for HR than the "Invest in 🤢 means investing in India"...
- Have at least a teenager in HR's gharana who the teenagers can go ga-ga over...
