I think you are right and the woman was also right. Assam is a part of India, but it is not the whole India. Only a percentage of population resides in Assam and rest of it does in other states. If Debo wants to win with the majority votes from Assam, then he should sing in their movies. Why torture us with his singing and eliminate truly gifted singers?
And the People who are saying that "IT IS FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT INDIA WAS UNDER THE BRITISH RULE FOR MORE THAN 200 YEARS AND YOU ALL SICK PEOPLE ARE AGAIN TRYING TO BRING BACK THOSE DAYS." Well guess what? You are behaving the same way all those people did when British invaded India. 👎🏼 🤬
Truthfully, I think Vinit is a very good singer; he has a passion I have not seen in any other contestant. Hemu and Hemani are also awesome.

U know I think I have a solution to the regional voting issue. Don't allow the
contestant's region to vote - lets see - Debo is from ne - so we can
eliminate them.

But in all fairness, we can't stop there.
Hema is from South - so anything south of the Vindhyas is out. Himani tho
NCR se hai Vinit Lucknow ka banda hai - ok get rid of entire Northern
region. Ismail-ji or Himesh Gujarat ke hain - vahan ka vote bhi nikal do.

Now - of all the votes that are left - tell me, who wins??

Lets do some calculation:
If a person gets 10 lakh votes, 3% is 33K,
and if someone gets 4 lakh votes, 8% is 32K, so guys, understand simple math, if someone gets such a large number of votes, then the percentage of votes from other places automatically decreases. So if Debo gets 2% from Delhi, then the percentage looks very small because of the sheer volume of votes he got.

ok, SRGMP does NOT restrict the total no. of votes for a contestant based on region. it's perfectly legal for a contestant to get as many votes as possible from anywhere in india (assuming internet voting does not count)

no one complained during the episode where contestants had to sing a Punjabi song (Nihira had some problem and ID said that every1 is here to learn something - i agree). what happened to the so called "Voice of India" then or should we say that it was to favor people from Punjab (like Himani)?


i respect opinions that says that debo didn't sing well based on singing technical points but coming up with such a lame exuse like blaming NE voting shows the frustration of anti-debo parties (i don't mean the fans since it was initially brought by AS who seems to have lot of spare time to come up with cheap excuses)

No it is because of people who lay down and let the British trample them for years that they ruled India. I appreciate people who raise a stink about issues - good or bad.
