Unfortunately, the masses do not relate to singers like Hemu or Nihira who are from a normal middle-class family ; who are not poor ; have both set of parents in good health ; never had to face hardship in life ; do not have a love life to boast about ; don't do propoganda about their goals in life like eliminate illitracy (Himani), school for kids (Vineet?), old age homes (Debu) .... etc.

Not saying it is other people's fault .. just saying being a normal person with a normal background sometimes does not fetch you votes.

i agree.. all this drama about vinits love life, debojits humble background, sick parents etc etc is becoming too much. while it is interesting to have a lil bit of background on the contestants and their hobbies n family background, turning every oppurtunity at the mike to get sympathy votes be it love or humble background or parents expecations is a lil sickening. cmon guys(himesh especially)...give us a break!!!! stop showing stupid A.V.S which do not make any sense. i would rather hear all the talented singers sing a whole song and discuss music on the show instead.

Hema is the best amongst the boys catagory

Himani & Nihira are extremely talented and I hope that they make a niche for themselves in Bollywood...

I'm with you in support of Hemachandra. I think he has versatility, capability, and talent. He is also a great performer. This, in addition to his singing, makes him one of the best competitors.
While I agree that Nihira's singing is phenomenal, and Himani is amazing as well, I had a soft spot for Ujjaini. I think she did really well, tried really hard, and had great stage personality.
