Public voting or no public voting, judges or no judges, mentors or no mentors. Audience know who is good, bad, worst, and "the best".
Let us keep the religion, regional, lingual, and whatever that can divide people aside when choosing the most deserving candidate. We have seen so many ups and downs, very many predictable and un-predictable things happening during the complete course of SRGMP 2005 Challenge. We are not dumb and know things were turned, tuned, framed, and shot to make the show progress conveniently so that the audiences' and viewers interests are kept alive.
Promoting candidates for reasons other than their singing talent was/is un-necessary for un-covering the best among the lot but "very important" for show's TRP ratings and its capacity to attract advertisers during the show. So guys and gals, it's a show-business and it has to contain some show. Take it as "it is a given".
Anyways, I guess there were many great singers uncovered during the whole exercise in so many months. According to me, Nihira, Vineet, Himani, Hema, Debo, and many who were OUT earlier; they all deserved recognition.
Now, this one is for you - the talent lovers. If you think you know who is the best, then say it. Keep aside anything and everything apart but their singing talent. Who really deserved???
If I was god and i was voting, I would have chosen Vinit and Nihira (unfortunately, she was out earlier only.). I still can not decide who the best between the two!
Himani and Hemu, both are extremely talented. Debo has improved and have become a good singer.
Anyways, what does your bias-free heart says is the real winner?
